3D Touch Probe
The 3D Touch is an affordable alternative to the original Touch probe. It is a high precision, touch-based bed leveling sensor intended for use with 3D Printers. It consists of an RC Servo and Micro Switch that maps the build surface, capable of achieving a perfect first layer every time.
The 3DTouch uses a push pin design and is compatible with almost all surface types, including glass, metal, wood and other popular build platforms.
Using the Hall Effect, it probes a defined number of points on the bed, then adjusts the Z-axis height during printing to compensate for variations in the surface.
